A couple of years ago, I went to a sleepover at my friend Celeste and her cousin Tegan's house. As soon as I walked in the door, Celeste was like 'OH BTW THE CAT HAS FLEAS AND SHE SLEEPS IN MY BED, LOL.' So, to get rid of the fleas, we decide to douse her room in Febreze.

So I'm all '... Does that really work?' and she's just like '*shrug*'. So we each grab a can and begin spraying. Eventually, we forget all about the fleas and end up having a Febreze fight.

That's right. We passed the time by shooting dangerous chemicals into each other's faces. I smelled like lavender and fresh laundry for weeks.

I know I have to grow up someday, but I don't think I'm ready for the 'real world'. The world I grew up in is safe, clean, loving and supportive. And while I watch the news and follow politics, I have absoloutely no idea how to survive. I've never taken the bus by myself or even gone shopping alone. My friends will tell you that I'm utterly lacking in social skills when it comes to interacting with my peers. How was I supposed to know that talking about sex with a 12-year-old was taboo? Nobody tells me these things!

I'm going over to a boy's house on Friday, and I have no idea what to do. I don't think it's a date, per se, but I'm such a flirt by nature, it may very well turn into one. I don't want to freak him out, though, nor do I want to come home to find my mother welding a chastity belt out of titanium. I might ask him to kiss me, just so I can finally have my first kiss at the hands of a nice, sensetive guy (who may or may not be gay). I'm off garlic for the rest of the week, just in case.

So, maybe I don't have a clue. My way of looking at it is; I still have 2 years to get one before college.

Ugh, horseflies. As a general rule, I'm not afraid of much, especially not bugs. But those damned insects scare the crap out of me! When they bite - and they will bite - it hurts like fuck. Well, first, we had Moishe. She was a coyote/Australian Kelpie. She died in June 06 at the ripe old age of 14. Then, we had Salix, the tortoiseshell/persian kitty. She dissapeared in September 01 after 3 years of biting and stratching and yowling at the door. We got Desmond, the hamster, a few days after that. He bit the big one in March 04. I recieved Lizzy, the Border Collie/Jack Russel as a gift in December 01 and kept her until we moved in June 07. Then there was Joon, the little moggie cat. She literally ate herself to death in October 05, age 1 1/2. Cat number 3 was Zylo, the WORLD'S FREAKING FATEST CREATURE EVER. We only had him for a few months when we moved unexpectedly. He now lives at the shelter as a mascot and is even fatter. Last up is Atticus the hamster, who isn't really worth mentioning. He died of some hammie disease a couple months ago.
